Kelly Rowland and Brandy have landed their very own BET series. Get the deets on Kelly’s new singing competition show “Chasing Destiny” and Brandy’s new rom-com series “Zoe Moon” inside….
New mom Kelly Rowland is entering the reality tv world. No worries, she will not be making any cameos on “Love & Hip Hop” or “Real Housewives.” She has landed her very own reality series and it will fall in line with what she loves doing the most: Singing!
As a former member of multi-platinum girl singing group Destiny’s Child, Kelly knows a thing or two about what it takes to make it in the music biz. So, the talented singer and BET have teamed up for the brand new talent competition show, “Chasing Destiny.”
According to BET, “Chasing Destiny” will follow a search for the hottest and most talented up-and-coming singer that will bring together young women with all that's required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence. This sort of sounds like Kelly will be returning to the judge’s chair to weed through talents much like her stint on the “X Factor”.
And Kelly seems to be excited about her new show, happily tweeting:

Speaking of her new show....
Yesterday, Kelly hit the carpet at the #ExperienceBETn2015 Upfront event held at Waldorf Astoria in Chicago to announce her upcoming show. The R&B songstress linked up with raptress MC Lyte, celeb financial coach Lynn Richardson and more to pose it up before hitting the stage.
She is looking amazing, by the way.
Kelly & Lyte also snapped a cute "us-sie" while waiting backstage. Loves it!
Another show coming to the network....
Although BET’s “The Game” is in its last and final run, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Brandy on the network any longer.
The R&B singing sensation will be starring in a new rom-com series titled “Zoe Moon,” where she plays a newly divorced single mom who makes a life-changing decision to start a new career as a cosmetics mogul. The problem is, her ex-husband and her 10-year-old son aren’t ready for Zoe’s new endeavor (or her new dating life) and will cause a few bumps in the road.
And that's not all. Brandy is booked honey! She’s currently gearing up for her role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical “Chicago” set to kick-off at the Ambassador Theatre on April 28th. She may also be heading back ito the studio soon as well. B-Rocka shared a video recently of her and Jazmine Sullivan flexing their amazing vocal skills and announced a duet would be coming soon. We’re here for it all!
No word on when the shows will be making their debuts, but we’ll keep you posted. Will you be tuning in?
BONUS:
Below are two new shows coming to BET that may peak your interest:
"The Label"
In the style of “Unsung” and “Behind The Music,” The Label will chronicle the journey of a different record label – the company, executives and artists. From the storied beginnings to its current standing – whether defunct or still riding high – The Label will take the Celebrity Documentary format to a new level.
"About The Business: Reality Docu-Series"
In Hollywood, only the driven survive. Enter model and actor Eva Marcille and her crew of taste/deal makers and deal makers. But will they blow up or blow out?
