Garcelle Beauvais Spills The Tea On How She Found Out Ex-Husband Mike Nilon Was Cheating, Embarrassment After Email Leaked

Garcelle Beauvais opens up about the devastating moment she found her husband Mike Nilon had cheated on her, which resulted in her publicly BLASTING him to his co-workers over email. Find out what she said about the trying time inside….

 

It’s been five years since Garcelle Beauvais blasted her former husband Mike Nilon (pictured above) in an explosive email to his Hollywood CAA Agency co-workers over his cheating antics. After nine years of marriage and the birth of twin boys Jax & Jaid, she thought she had found the “one” and they would live happily ever after...but that all changed once she discovered he was cheating!

During a candid interview for Oprah’s “Where Are They Now,” the Girlfriends' Getaway star broke down how she found out about her husband’s cheating ways and how she felt once she realized the email she blasted to his co-workers had leaked! On top of dealing with her significant other's betrayal, she then had to deal with the public scrutiny over exposing her husband to his co-workers.

While touching on the very moment she found out about his infidelity she said,

"I forgot my phone at home. I said, 'Hey, can I use your phone to call your mom?' So, I went to go make the call and I saw, 'I love you' [on the phone]," Beauvais says. "I looked again, and I said, 'What's this?' That's pretty much how everything changed."

Totally pissed, she pulled out her computer and typed up an email to her to his co-workers, accusing her then husband of having a five-year affair with some chick in Chicago. The email was eventually leaked to the New York Post, where it was printed word for word. She spoke on the devestation saying,

"When I actually looked and realized it had been leaked, I was sobbing, sobbing," she says. "It's embarrassing. At the same time, you're in pain. It was another part of the devastation, honestly."

Yikes! Following that whirlwind of hurt and defeat, she found herself a life coach and started therapy, in hopes of finding herself again and doing what she thought was best to be the best mother to her three children. (She has an older son from a previous marriage to producer Daniel Saunder). She spilled,

"I did all the things that they say you should do, because I didn't want my adult drama to affect my kids," she says tearfully. "I couldn't have moved on and been a good parent and co-parent with him if I didn't do those things. We're doing the best we can for those boys. They deserve it."

Despite two divorces and all of that drama, Garcelle seems to be doing JUST fine. She stays on a red carpet.  And she's currently in Puerto Rico filming the sequel to the TvONE original film Girlfriend's Getaway, along with Essence Atkins, Terri J. Vaughn, Malinda Williams and Xioana Nieves:
