"DWTS" celebrated its 10th anniversary with a huge bash featuring former contestants Vivica A. Fox, Lil Kim, Amber Riley and Patti Labelle. See the pics inside and watch Mo'Nique on "WWHL."
Last night, ABC/DISNEY taped The Dancing With the Stars 10th Anniversary Special. The special airs next Tuesday, on April 28th, and we've been tipped off about what we can expect.
First, we will see Patti Labelle, who appears on "DWTS" this season, link up with former "DWTS" winner Amber Riley and former contestant Lil Kim to perform "Lady Marmalade" (atop). Actor Alfonso Ribeiro will appear on the special, doing his last dance as reigning champion. We will also see appearances from former contestants Gladys Knight and Emmitt Smith.
After the taping, the celebs headed to the afterparty at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood.
Amber posted a pic with Patti, adding the caption "My other mother! She adopted me lol @mspattilabelle thank you for simply being you. Tonight was a dream come true. Living legend but as gracious as the girl next door or the really cool Aunt! I aspire to be just like you I will forever remember your words! I LOVE YOU!!!"
Amber also posted a pic with her "Lady Marmalade" partner Lil Kim.
Vivica A. Fox attended the afterparty as well. Vivica, a former "DWTS" contestant, is all set to appear on "Hollywood Divas" next year and the sequel to Independence Day.
On late night...
Blackbird star Mo'Nique stopped by the Bravo clubhouse to discuss her latest film (in theatres now) and her feud with Lee Daniels.
While rocking a DKNY and a skirt from Tadashi, Mo'Nique told Andy COhen she was initially offered the role of Cookie Lyon, but Lee pulled the offer off the table. He told her she'd been blackballed (but he never explained why).
For her part, Mo says she didn't buy into the whole "blackballed" thing, but admits that Hollywood did lowball her with small salary offers. And she wasn't having that! Watch the "WWHL" clips here and see Monique discussing Lee Daniels in-depth here.
