TheYBF Celebrates MOTHER’S DAY 2015: New Moms, Moms Again, & More!

New mom Kelly Rowland is living motherhood in the fab lane.

The gorgeous singer gave birth to her precious baby boy Titan (with husband Tim Weatherspoon) in November 2014. And motherhood certainly looks good on the former Destiny’s Child member. Since Baby Titan’s arrival, Kelly took a little time to herself to bond with her son, but also, grieve the untimely death of her mother just a month after Titan was born.

Proving her strength, the “Motivation” singer is making her way back into the limelight. As you can see, she landed the April 2015 cover ESSENCE magazine, alongside her husband and their son.

Coming down the pipeline, the 34-year-old star will be starring on a new singing competition show coming to BET called “Chasing Destiny,” she’s possibly back in the studio working on new music and, she has partnered up with Dreft to be the face of the baby detergent brand. She also stars in an adorable new commercial for Dreft WITH Titan. Check it HERE if you missed.

It looks like Kelly will be celebrating her Mother's Day with a little getaway. She jetted to Melbourne, Australia to kick off the celebration today. Nice!
  

Although new mom Ciara had to deal with a tough break-up with her ex-Future, she’s bouncing back like the fab mother she is. CiCi, 29, is currently on tour performing hits from her recently released JACKIE album and hard at work making press rounds. 

Baby Future, born just after Mother’s Day last year on May 19, 2014, makes his onscreen debut in his mom’s video for “I Got You,” a heartwarming ode to her baby boy. Check it HERE.

Other first time moms include, raptress Lil Kim, who gave birth to her daughter Royal (with Mr. Papers) in June 2014. Queen Bee threw a super luxe royal baby shower put together by celebrity wedding planner David Tutera. Her shower was featured on WETv's "David Tutera's CELEBrations."

Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana welcomed twin boys Cy and Bowie in November 2014 with husband Marco Perego.

Last month, the 26-year-old actress took to Facebook to share her struggle with shaking the baby weight, but vows to keep pushing. She wrote:

Hi everyone, As you all know, we welcomed twin boys last November. Yes, by far, the most amazing experience of my life, but also a very challenging experience when it pertains to my body. I'm sure moms across the world (and dads sometimes) can identify with what I'm about to say. Your body changes dramatically, inside and out. You grow in places you never knew you could, and you are tired beyond belief. In some cases more than others, your body experiences a kind of trauma through childbirth that is difficult to explain unless you've had that experience. My case was like that, everything from my thyroid to my platelets crashed. Thank God, we are all doing great now, but my body was really bent out of shape after the boys were born. Bouncing back feels impossible, but I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up. I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work..... my clock is ticking! 2 months ago I started my journey, and its been REAL- I'm not gonna lie- it is slow.... painful... and frustrating. But it is worth it. And that is why I'm here... I know many of you have gone through this or are going through it as we speak. Let's do it together. Let's talk about it, hear each other out, and seek advice when we need it. I have my friend of many years and trainer, Steve Moyer that will be guiding me and sometimes training me for the next 2 months before I go back to work. I will be sharing with you what I do, what I eat and how I feel about it in hopes that it will be of any help to you. cool? I started in January with Moyer. I was 160lbs (at the peak of my pregnancy I reached 185lbs). I had no flexibility, weak joints, and exercising was painful. We started with just walking, I think I only walked that first month. I did however change the way I eat. I began to make better choices with my food. Moyer was instrumental at this point. he gave me great tips of what to eat, how much water to drink, he even gave me some recipes of his own sometimes. It was important for me to learn this so I can do it on my own if I have to. I want to prove to myself that if I have the right determination I can do anything. Crap, boys are up from their naps! gotta go! I'm looking fwd to sharing this journey with you...

And "Single Ladies" star Denise Vasi welcomed her and husband Anthony Mandler's daughter Lennox (via natural birth at home) in February 2015.  Cute!

 

MOMS AGAIN

“Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Yandy Smith Harris became a mom for the second time around after giving birth to her daughter Skylar Smith Harris in January 2015 with her now-fiancé Mendeecees. Baby Skylar joins big brother Omere Harris and Mendeecees Jr. Before her arrival, Yandy went all out, throwing lavish ballerina themed baby shower fit for a princess.

"R&B Divas: Atlanta" star KeKe Wyatt gave birth to her eighth child (the youngest few with her husband Michael Jamar) in March 2015, a daughter she named Ke'Yoshi Bella. She also threw a cutesy baby shower for her new bundle of joy, which caused a little negative backlash. But, KeKe was unbothered. She believes every child deserves a celebration and she wanted to acknowledge her new arrival...so she did.
