A brand new comedy led by an all black cast is headed to ABC. Get the first look at "Uncle Buck" inside, plus Blacktress Janet Hubert's latest clap back for Kenya Moore inside...
Actress Nia Long is headed back to television with a new sitcom fam in "Uncle Buck." ABC just released the first promo photo and announced they are picking up the series also starring Mike Epps--as the lead character Buck--James Lesure and more.
Deadline says about the Will Packer-Executive Produced series:
Written by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley, the series centers on Uncle Buck (Mike Epps), a fun loving but irresponsible guy who needs a job and a place to stay. By happy coincidence, his nieces and nephew’s Nanny has just quit and his brother and sister-in-law need his help. His unconventional personality just may make him the right fit for the family and they may be the answer to his problems, too. Nia Long, James Lesure, Iman Benson, Sayeed Shahidi and Aalyrah Caldwell co-star.
The series is a remix on the 1989 hit movie of the same name. Cute!
In other "tv" news, Kenya Moore is premiering her "Life Twirls On" 30 minute sitcom today....on her Facebook Page. And her online beef with star Janet Hubert has gotten even uglier.
After Kenya responded yesterday to Janet's accusations about forging time sheets and Kenya not paying her properly, the original "Aunt Viv" from "Fresh Prince" had this to say:
Bloop!
