Last night at the New York premiere of "Southpaw" at AMC Loews Lincoln Square...
TIDAL exec (and boxing enthusiast) Jay Z was among the A-list celebs who turned out to support his friend Jake Gyllenhaal in his latest starring role Southpaw. The film also stars "Shame" singer Tyrese, Rita Ora and Forest Whitaker.
Jay seems to be in good spirits despite that fact that his company has been hit with a $50 million lawsuit by Lil Wayne’s label, Cash Money Records, over Weezy music released on Tidal last week.
Hmmm....we wonder if he and Southpaw star 50 Cent dished on their legal dramas? And speaking of 50 Cent....
The #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO mogul stars in Southpaw as a character named Jordan Main. He and his shiny suit made a dapper arrival.
He posed along side Southpaw's marquee stars Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Later on, the three were joined on the carpet by rapper Eminem, and the rest of the cast including Oona Laurence, Miguel Gomez, and YBF fave Naomie Harris.
By the way, 50 Cent was very excited that his rap mentor Eminem (shown above with Jake and Miguel) came out to support his latest film. On Instagram, 50 posted this about Em, "Somethings never change you know like real friendship. I only needed a shot and he gave it to me. I love EM he said I see you doing big things, I'm still your favorite white boy right !!! LMAO I ALMOST FELL OUT. #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO"
The rapper was also supported by his "POWER" co-stars Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.
In addition to his bankruptcy filing AND losing his sex tape scandal case, Executive Producer 50 is also making headlines regarding his Starz show. He recently called out AT&T for being racist after the company failed to negotiate a deal to carry the Starz network (which also airs "Power"). Y'all know how 50 stirs up ish to get his point across...
We love actress Naomie Harris, who plays tough social worker Angela Rivera in the film.
Ms. Harris (who covers the latest edition of The EDIT) hit the red carpet in a stunning Cushnie Et Ochs Resort sheath dress from the 2016 collection, which she paired with Louboutin pumps.

"The View" co-host Rosie Perez (who's a HUGE boxing fan and was recently given the title of First Lsdy Of Boxing) came out with her husband, graphic artist Eric Haze.
Actress Lela Rochon Fuqua (who is married to Southpaw director Antoine Fuqua) came out to support her hubby and she brought along their kids, making it a family affair. The couple's kids Brando and Zachary and daughter Asia (shown above) were all on board to support daddy's latest project.
