The list of nominations for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards was released today, presented by “Orange Is The New Black” star and Emmy winner Uzo Aduba along with "So You Think You Can Dance" host Cat Deeley. And several of our most talked about YBFers were honored for their artistic achievements.
Taraji P. Henson was nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for “Empire,” where she’s up against Viola Davis for her role in “How To Get Away With Murder.” David Oyelowo “Nightingale” for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie; Queen Latifah “Bessie” for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie; Anthony Anderson “black•ish” and Don Cheadle “House of Lies” were both nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series; Uzo Aduba “Orange Is The New Black” for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and “OITNB” for Outstanding Drama Series; “American Horror Story” (Angela Bassett) for Outstanding Limited Series.
