Evelyn & Shaniece Lozada Pressin' The "Livin Lozada" Reality Show + Gabrielle Union Out And About In NYC

We spotted Evelyn Lozada and Gabrielle Union out and about in New York City.  Find out what they were up to inside....

We spotted former "BBW" star Evelyn Lozada outside of the NYC Huffpost Live offices with her lovely daughter Shaniece.  If you're wondering why Evelyn was in town away from her in-the-cut abode in Arizona, she's promoting her role as the newest reality star on the OWN network.  She's set to star in a new docu-series named "Livin Lozada" which we told you about a while ago.

The new series will feature Ev's entire family including daughter Shaniece, son Carl Leo Jr. and her MLB star fiance Carl Crawford. We'll get to see Ev learning to be a mom all over again, setting up a new home in Los Angeles for her and her family, running several businesses as well as dealing with issues surrounding her family back East.  Looks like she got to erase her embattled past as the ring leader of fight night every night on "Basktball Wives."  Chick did a 180 it seems.

"Livin' Lozada" premieres on OWN tomorrow, July 11th, at 9 PM EST.

 

During the HuffPost Live interview (watch it here), Ev revealed that the show will also deal with her domestic dispute with former hubby Chad Ochocinco.  She said,

I think a lot of the times, domestic violence victims [are] so torn down and you feel like 'well, I'm not going to be able to find anyone better,' or 'My life is over.  I want women to be strong and I want for them to look at me [and think] 'Wow, she did it. She was able to get out of that relationship. If I can inspire one to leave that toxic relationship...then I feel like I've done something great."

We also spotted "Being Mary Jane" star Gabrielle Union strolling through NYC.   

The BET starlet is currently filming Sleepless Night with Jamie Foxx, which is actually a remake of the 2011 French film "Nuit Blanche." What's the premise? From what we've read, it's about an undercover police officer who scours a nightclub in search of his kidnapped son.

And as soon as she wraps Sleepless Night, Gabby's set to star alongside Nate Parker's big project (which he told us about last year) named Birth of A Nation.  The film is based on Nat Turner's slave revolt.

Whew...Gabby is one busy lady.  Luckily, she and her hubby Dwyane had the chance to get some rest in the Bahamas a few days ago.  In case you missed it on the Gram, Chris Paul, LeBron James, LaLa & Carmelo Anthony were all on the yacht vacation as well.  And chick is glowing and looking freakin' flawless.
