Gettin' In The Way Of My Feelings...Jill Scott Backtracks On Bill Cosby And SMACKS Down Internet Trolls Who Are Coming For Her

Thanks to Bill Cosby's own admission that he's drugged women for sex, some of his defenders, namely Jill Scott, have withdrawn their support.  But you know the Internets won't let her live!  Watch Jill rebuke Bill and shut down the trolls too...

 

In December 2014, Jill Scott put her reputation on the line to defend Bill Cosby against a slew of women who'd accused him of drugging and then sexually assaulting them.  You can revisit those tweets here, but basically, Jill argued that these were allegations (true...at the time) and we didn't have any substantiated proof (true...at the time).  Well...now things have changed.

In newly released court documents from 2005, Bill Cosby admitted to getting prescription Quaaludes to give to young women he wanted to have sex with.  This fresh information broke yesterday, and Jill didn't waste anytime reconfiguring her opinion on the matter.

Jill took to Twitter armed with the new information to retract her support. Her tweets were heartfelt, and you could sense her pain and embarrassment. But still...the Internet is UNFORGIVING. Fans and foes came from all sides, calling her a hypocrite and several other names.

But she handled them.....like a classy lady.
