"The Game" taped its series finale recently and welcomed Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry back to reprise their roles as 'Melanie' & 'Derwin'. See pics form the set inside and find out why Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak won't be working for BRAVO.
BET is set to bid farewell to the Sabers and Sunbeams.
As the series prepares to leave the field, creator Mara Brock Akil (shown above) linked up with the show's stars and two of its most memorable characters who kicked off the show. In the pic above, she posed with Brittany Daniel (who left the show and returned), Tia Mowry (who returned for the finale), Pooch Hall, and vet Wendy Raquel Robinson.
We're going to go out on a limb here and put Tia on Preggers Watch. Anybody seeing what we see?
The finale is set to air in August as Brittany tweeted, "With my absolute favorite girls @iamwendyraquel and @tiadmowry on set of @thegamebet today shooting the series finale series finale Aug 5th #ThegameBET #friends #oldfriends".
Tia added, "Sunbeams 2015!!! Reunited and it feels so good!"
August 5th will feature the return of Melanie and Derwin and we're here for it!
Now here's what you won't see....
A few weeks ago we brought you exciting news about former "RHOA" frenemies NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak reuniting for a new BRAVO show dubbed "Road to Riches." From the press release, the series would have showcased the ladies on a one-of-a-kind cross country adventure similar to what we saw Oprah and Gayle do back in the day.
Well.....the show's been shelved. AXE dropped! According to TMZ, Nene and Kim are so busy (Mrs. Leakes has left "RHOA" and is taping the ABC game show, "To Tell the Truth" + Kim is shooting "Don't Be Tardy"), that they're schedules won't allow them to hit the road together.
Shocker.
We're told that BRAVO is not opposed to revisiting the show in the future....but for now, it's a wrap.
