Kerry Washington serves up the springtime fab in NYC on the promo trail for “Scandal” and she reveals how she feels about the final season. Also, peep carpet flicks of Tracy Morgan, Karrueche, and more at the Turner Upfront inside…
Kerry Washington is hot on the promo trail before the season finale of “Scandal” hits the airwaves. The four-time EMMY nominee certainly turned heads in this multi-colored Peter Pilotto dress paired with teal sandals that we love. Like, obsessed.
The fab mom made a stop on “Good Morning America” to dish on the upcoming season 6 finale of “Scandal” and how she feels about the show’s final season.
"I think we’re all a little sad, but we feel grateful we have the information,” she said about “Scandal” ending after the 7th season. “Sometimes as an actor you don’t know when you’re going to be out of a job so it’s nice going into the last season knowing it’s the last season.”
As for season 6’s season two-hour finale, she said,
“Mama Pope is back and she’s not playing around. She’s fierce and I love knowing that Olivia Pope comes from this very dignified, elegant Papa Pope and this slightly gangsta mom. Never in my wildest dreams could have imagined that we are ending the season with Olivia Pope, who she is. Where we end this season makes me so excited about next season.”
Sounds like we have a lot in store for the finale tonight.

Speaking of television shows...
The cast of TNT’s new upcoming drama “Claws” whipped out their heavy designed nails on the blue carpet at the 2017 Turner Upfront held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden yesterday. Stars Carrie Preston Niecy Nash, Judy Reyes and Karrueche Tran were all smiles as they snapped it up together before dishing on their new show.
Birthday girl Karrueche struck several poses in a off-the-shoulder Fendi dress accessorized with a BCBGMAXAZRIA belt. The actress turned 29-years-old yesterday, so she had plenty to celebrate.
We see she isn’t letting her court situation with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown keep her down.
Keeping it pretty in pink, Niecy Nash looked amazing as she made her way down the carpet.
"Claws" executive producer Rashida Jones was also in the mix.
The new series is set to premiere June 11th.
On Instagram...
Rashida shared this funny flick with Turner Sports analyst Shaquille O'Neal. Ha!
Shaw was being his usual goofy self on the carpet with TBS late-night host Conan O'Brien:
Gotta love Big Diesel!
Tracy Morgan and his wife Meagan Wollover Morgan popped up on the carpet at the network event. The comedian is set to make his return to scripted television starring in a comedy series on TBS (a division of Turner) created by Jordan Peele, titled "The Last O.G."
They're so cute.
Cedric The Entertainer has joined the cast of Tracy's new series, so he stepped out to support.
Comedienne Wanda Sykes will star in an upcoming TBS comedy "World's In."
Funnyman Deon Cole hit the carpet alongside his “Angie Tribeca” co-stars.
CNN's Don Lemon was also at the event for a dramatic presentation alongside anchors Dana Bash, Jake Tapper and Alisyn Camerota.
And "New Edition Story" star Dante Hoagland, who played the young Mike Bivins, was all smiles on the carpet.
