The YBF star aligned in L.A. yesterday to celebrate and show love to their mothers and all of the fab moms all over the world. VH1 taped their 2nd annual “Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms” event at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens for some pre-Mother Day’s festivities.
Celebs hit the carpet with their mothers before paying tribute to the most special woman in their lives.
La La Anthony hit the carpet with her family before getting to her co-hosting duties alongside “black-ish” star Anthony Anderson.

While on the purple carpet, she opened up about how she’s dealing with the separation from her husband Carmelo Anthony.
“My family. My family is my strength,” she said. “My family and God is my strength. That’s where I’ve always found my strength my entire life, so now would be no different.”
She also dished on her Mother’s Day plans saying:
“I just want to be with my mom and my son, and just kind of keep it low key: watch movies, eat good food, listen to music. It’s all about just being around family for us.”
Another YBF celeb pushing through after separating from their husband...
Mary J. Blige is coming through as her nasty divorce from her estranged husband Kendu Isaacs continues to make headlines every week. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul was decked out in white while posing it up on the carpet alongside her twin, mom Cora Blige. She honored her mother with a special performance during the ceremony.
Since host Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart found a way to save their marriage after his wife filed for divorce, he had his entire family on the carpet. The “black-ish” star, who filled in for Jimmy Kimmel this week, brought his mother (and hilarious sidekick) Doris Hancox, his son Nathan Anderson and daughter Kyra Anderson along with him.
Kelly Rowland made her way to the event rocking a floral Cynthia Rowley midi dress paired with Ade Samuels sandals. As you know, Kelly’s mother, Dorris Rowland Garrison, passed away right before her son Titan was born in 2014. She hit the stage for a touching tribute to her mother.
