It may be hard to believe that Rihanna has never made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival being that she’s a staple on the international party scene. But chick made her debut at the prestigious film festival yesterday and had everyone on notice.
The “Work” singer got all glammed up to attend the Rihanna x Chopard Collection launch during the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival held at the Chopard Rooftop in Cannes last night. The Pop princess collaborated with the luxury jewelry brand on a new collection she named Rihanna Loves Chopard. It’s the Grammy Award winners first time creating high-end jewelry pieces.
The Pop princess oozed vintage Hollywood glam in a black tulle custom Ralph & Russo gown paired with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Roger Vivier clutch, and, of course, Chopard jewels.
On social media, Rih thanked Chopard president Caroline Scheufele for giving her the opportunity to create the collection. She wrote,
"Thank you to the wonderful Caroline Scheufele for such an unbelievable opportunity to create high end jewelry for the first time in my career! Had a blast tonight at the official launch event for our collaboration!!! RiRi [heart emoji] @chopard #RihannaLovesChopard"
RiRi's Roc Nation family, Roc Nation co-founder Jay Brown and Jay Z's right hand man/Roc Nation exec Ty Ty Smith, were also in the building.
Supermodel Winnie Harlow came out to support and rolled up on the carpet with some major leg action.

The fashionista made her way to the Okja screening at the Cannes Film Festival held at the Palais des Festivals.
For the red carpet event, the Bajan beauty strutted her stuff in a white custom Dior couture gown and Chopard jewels, of course.
The slayage was so real.
