Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster went through a nasty, public divorce and a bitter custody battle back in 2009. But now that all of the drama is behind them, it appears they’re good friends for the sake of the children.
Over the weekend, Tameka’s eldest child, Ryan Glover Jr., graduated from Woodward Academy. His family and his extended family were all there to witness the high school football star trek across the stage.
Ryan’s “step dad” Usher and his wife Grace Miguel were in attendance to congratulate him on his big feat.
On Instagram, the Hard II Love singer posted a heartfelt message to his son, writing, “Congratulations Son!!! #classof2017 @ryan1glover Go get em killa!!! This story never gets old....I'm so proud of you. Watching you from the beginning all over again. Love 2Dad”
Super sweet.
Ryan will join the UPENN Quaker football team as a quarterback. In fact, he’s a duel threat quarterback, which means he’s a QB that possesses the skills and physique to run with the ball if necessary. Get it! He’s also the first in the family to attend an Ivy League School.
As expected, Ryan's biological father Ryan Glover Sr. and his grandfather (Tameka's dad) were also in attendance.
On Instagram, Tameka gushed over her baby boy graduating college, saying, "Yes y'all this is one my babies... His Mommy couldn't be prouder and more thankful. #GoldHonorRoll #ProudMomma #Quarterback #IvyLeagueBound #MyKid #StillMyBaby #Blessed #BlackBoyJoy"
Congrats Ryan!
Another YBF teen doing it big....
THIS young man is gearing up to do MAJOR things.
14-year-old Carson Huey-You just made history as the youngest person ever to graduate from Texas Christian University, according to the AP.
The YBF teen, who started at TCU in 2013 when he was 11, just copped his Physics degree and TWO minors, one in Chinese and one in math. Amazing!
The young graduate told the Forth Worth Star-Telegram his favorite thing about college was learning thing he never thought about, things he never knew existed and things he might not even think about thinking about. In addition, he has learned how to deal with “some real hard classes” and how to get over the disappointment of a poor test score.
He’s now setting out to work on getting his graduate degree in quantum mechanics. We see a very bright future for this young man.
Congrats!
