We've all been there. You log out of Twitter just to log back in months later and all the ish is different AF. Jay Z went on a Thank You spree to his fave rappers tonight, and could barely figure out the app. Hilarity ensued....
He got his point across though.
As 47-year-old Shawn "Jay Z" Carter became the first rapper to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of fame tonight in NYC, he basically put his Thank You speech on Twitter.
As the 48th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner went down at the Marriot Marquis, The Roc's head honcho was on Twitter flying through the names of every rapper that has inspired him throughout his career – from Rakim to Kanye to Lauryn to Quavo. And there were tons in between. His list might surprise you:
