This week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted a special event, "In the Mood for 'Love Jones' – The Academy Celebrates the Film's 20th Anniversary,” to celebrate Love Jones reaching the 20-year mark at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The romance drama, director by Theodore Witcher (his first and only feature film), was celebrated with a screening and an excellent panel with the cast and crew, including Larenz Tate, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington, Bill Bellamy and more.
Larenz's wife, Tomasina Parrott, came out for the big night.
Oscar winning director Barry Jenkins moderated the insightful panel discussion with the cast.
Look who it is! Love Jones star Lisa Nicole Carson (above) and Bernadette Speakes (below) came out to reunite with their fellow Love Jones co-stars.
We can thank casting director Robi Reed (right) for forming such an incredible cast.
