Keyshia Cole’s past is catching up to her. The woman she allegedly beat down over Birdman just pulled the trigger on a multi-million dollar lawsuit. Deets inside…
In case you forgot, Keyshia Cole used to date Birdman back in 2014 before he started hooking up with Toni Braxton. Their relationship fizzled after the “I Should Have Cheated” singer caught the Cash Money honcho with another chick inside his condo complex in L.A.
Keyshia reportedly found Sabrina Mercadel inside his penthouse around 5AM after security allowed her upstairs. Chick went postal on the girl, reportedly handing her a beatdown with her name on it. We wonder if it was worth it because Keyshia was arrested for battery and she had an outstanding reckless driving warrant at the time. Sheesh!
Now, Sabrina wants payback…and a hefty one at that.
She’s suing the R&B singer for $4 million to cover all of the injuries/damages she sustained from the attack.
Here’s how the $4 milli is broken down (via TMZ):
$1.5 mil, pain and suffering
$500k, emotional distress
$2 mil, loss of use of body part
$200k, future medical expenses
$50k, loss of earnings
$300k, future loss of earnings
It’s reported Sabrina dropped the lawsuit against Birdman’s building. (Maybe he paid her off?). Now, it’s just a waiting game to see if a judge will approve her desired amount of money she’s demanding.
We may see this play out on the upcoming season of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" since Keyshia has joined the cast. It's set to premiere on Monday, July 24th at 8/7c.
