The premiere for Denzel Washington's Equalizer 2 looked like a black Hollywood reunion of sorts. Go inside to see red carpet flicks of Denzel mixing and mingling with fans, plus shots of Larenz Tate, Michael Ealy, Ludacris, Tichina Arnold and more inside....
Black Hollywood came out to catch the premiere of Denzel Washington's Equalizer 2 thriller, which he stars in and produces. The premiere was held at the Chinese Theatre and several of our faves were in the mix.
The 63-year-old actor is gearing up to take over the box office once again in his first ever sequel. Can you believe this is the first time the Oscar winner has starred in a sequel? He'll reprise his role as Robert McCall, the Lyft driver who rights wrongs for people that can't.
Before we see him kick some a** in the flick, Denzel hit the carpet at the premiere with his co-star Ashton Sanders and the film's director Antoine Fuqua.
The veteran actor also got up close and personal with fans and one lady looked like she couldn't take it:
Ha!
Retired NBA baller Karrem Abdul-Jabbar came out to catch the film.
Oh, heeeeey Wesley Snipes! He came out to show support.
Hotties Michael Ealy, Ludacris and Larenz Tate posted up on the carpet before checking out the film.
Engaged couple Derek Fisher and Gloria Govan took time from planning their nuptials to bring their love on the carpet.
These two! Tichina Arnold and NBA baller Dwight Howard were cutting up on the carpet.
When a baller hits the carpet in "regular" clothes...
LL Cool J and his wife Simone Smith, who celebrate their 23rd anniversary next month, served up coupledom vibes on the carpet.
Magic Johnson's wife Cookie Johnson lit up the carpet in a coral ensemble.
“The Parkers” alum Porscha Coleman showed off her curves in a striped mini bodycon dress.
Boxer Deontay Wilder and "WAGS Atlanta" star Telli Swift came out to see the film.
TV personality Aisha Tyler and actress Gina Torress were also in the mix.
After the premiere...
Celebs, including Boris Kodjoe, Adina Porter, Garcelle Beauvais, Aisha Tyler, Loretta Devine and Tichina Arnold hit up the after party for the premiere at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
Fun times.
