Paying it forward! Diddy and Marjorie Harvey poured blessings into several little ladies' lives during the 2019 LadyLike Foundation Women Of Excellence Luncheon. Peep the flicks and deets on their philanthropic efforts inside...
The stars aligned at this year's LadyLike Foundation Women Of Excellence Luncheon in Beverly Hills at The Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom. The Ladylike Foundation seeks to empower young women in underprivileged communities throughout Los Angeles.
During the luncheon, several celebs were honored for their excellence, including A Wrinkle In Time actress Storm Reid. She was all smiles on the carpet alongside Ladylike Founder Leah Pump.
Storm took the stage during the luncheon to offer up motivational words to the young ladies that were in the audience.
“I just want them to know that you are beautiful, you are worthy, you are worthy of being seen and heard,” she said. “Don’t try to diminish yourself for society or to what society wants you to be.”
Diddy brought his girls - D'Lila, Jessie & Chance Combs - for the women empowerment luncheon. Joing them on the carpet was Diddy's own mother Janice Combs and Chance's mother Sarah Chapman.
Aren't they gorgeous?! It's the twins' first public appearance since the death of their mother, Kim Porter.
The Hip Hop mogul wasn't just there to show his face. He pledged $100,000 to the organization. Nice!
It was a mother-daughter affair for Lori & Marjorie Harvey. The ladies posed it up together before snapping it up with Leah Pump on the carpet.
Baddie alert! "Games People Play" star Vanessa Simmons looked amazing in a power suit.
Push through junior queen! "This Is Us" star Lyric Ross kept it fierce on the carpet.
"Married To Medicine" star Dr. Noelle Reid, LL Cool J's wife Simone Smith, and actress Vanessa Williams were also in the mix.
R&B songstress Kelly Price hit the stage to speak during the women empowerment luncheon.
One highlight from the event was when 15-year-old Aromni Gumbs shared her heroic story of traveling to the event on the LA Metro and her experience in the foster system. Marjorie Harvey surprised Aromni when she announced that she and her husband Steve Harvey would fund ALL four years of her college education. Not only that, she also offered her a ride home. Aww! So sweet.
Later...
Diddy's girls showed off on the runway, with D'Lilah and Jessie taking after their late model mommy Kim Porter.
Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway made her way on stage looking pretty in pink.
Backstage, Magic Johnson's wife Cookie Johnson linked up with Marjorie for a photo-op.
Bad Boys 3 actor Martin Lawrence was in the audience too.
