It's that time of year again when fashion designers and fashion muses gather to celebrate and praise everyone working behind-the scenes. More inside...

The 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards, dubbed the "Oscars of Fashion," went down at the Brooklyn Museum of Art in NYC last night to honor the best in fashion. And all the fly people stepped out to attend.
Several black fashion designers were nominated for awards this year, including Off-White's Virgil Abloh (below- alongside Gigi Hadid), Pyer Moss' Kerby Jean-Raymond (above - alongside Jhene Aiko), Telfar's Telfar Clemens, and emerging designer Heron Preston. Unfortunately, none of them took home any awards, but it still looks like they all had a blast.

There was a whole Pyer Moss fashion crew on the scene - including rapper Joey Bada$$, Black Lives Matter founder Deray McKesson, rapper ASAP Ferg, designer Kerby Jean-Raymond and singer Jhene Aiko - looking extra saucy in their Pyer Moss threads. We see y'all.
By the way, Pyer Moss was announced as the winner of the 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, accepted by Kerby.

LaLa Anthony is no stranger to the CFDA festivities.
The "Power" star rolled up on the scene in a Nispey blue Sally La Pointe sequin with fur accents dress before snapping it up alongside designer Ruthie Davis.

La tip toed in the event rocking a pair of Ruthie Davis Chrissy heels.

Model Joan Smalls kept it casually cute in a powder pink Pyer Moss 'fit as she snapped it up alongside rapper ASAP Ferg.

Y'all know the Shumperts love to have fun and they LOVE fashion.

Singer/actress Teyana Taylor and her NBA player hubby Iman Shumpert served up "His & Hers" Thom Browne looks.

Crown them as best dressed couple.

Ciara has been busy on the promo trail for her recently released album, Beauty Marks, but she's a fashion lover too, so she made her way to the event.

The loc'd up beauty got all glammed up in black caged Vera Wang dress for the fashion fun.

And snapped it up with designer Vera Wang.
By the way, CiCi - who just finished her Harvard Business course - is gearing up to head off on tour soon. Deets HERE.
