Comedian Dave Chappelle is making his Broadway debut this summer. But, he won't be there long. Deets inside...
From stand up, to television, to Netflix - now, Broadway!
Comedian Dave Chappelle will be dominating Broadway for the first time ever this summer. No, he's not singing and dancing in a musical. He'll be headling a five-show residency at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
"Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway" will run July 9th-13th, according to Deadline. No details about the show have been released, but we wouldn't be surprised if the EMMY/Grammy winner cooked up something different for his first Broadway appearance.
Pre-sale tix for "Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway" go on sale Tuesday, June 18th while the general public can start buying tix starting June 21st.
By the way, Chappelle is set to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center in October.
Maybe a Tony Award will be next.
