Every year, Black Girls Rock hosts an event to celebrate Black women’s beauty, power and brilliance, which is the blueprint to being Young, Black and Fabulous. So, it's only right we hit the yellow carpet to chop it up with all of the incredible melanin beauties that hit up the event.
YBF correspondent Maurita Salkey hit the carpet at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey for the ultimate girl sesh with some incredible black women that attended Black Girls Rock!, hosted by "Claws" actress Niecy Nash. Raptress HoodCelebrityy, raptress Rapsody, singer/actress Brandy, raptress/actoress Lil Mama, and even singer Raheem DeVaughn shared how powerful black women are and why #BlackGirlMagic is EVERYTHING.
