Nick Cannon is all about that bag. And he just added a new show under his belt.
The “Wild N’ Out” honcho is gearing up to dominate daytime television as he’s set to host and produce a new nationally syndicated daytime talk show in 2020! He’s teaming up with Liongate’s Debmar-Mercury where he’ll co-produce his production company, Ncredible Entertainment, according to Deadline. Yep, he’s getting all those coins.
"This is Chess not Checkers baby!!! Let’s go 2020!," he captioned on Instagram about his new talk show.
He got his feet wet hosting the “Wendy Williams Show” earlier this year while she was on hiatus. And viewers loved him. Now, he’s ready to do his own thing on his own show.
“We are excited to be able to announce this collaboration with Nick, who has proven himself to be such a dominant creative and entrepreneurial force across film, primetime TV, music, comedy, stage and online platforms,” said Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein. “The daytime audience got to see that firsthand earlier this year with his stellar performance guest hosting The Wendy Williams Show. Now we can’t wait to see Nick put his own unique stamp on talk and add daytime to his impressive list of accomplishments.”
Nick is moving from primetime to daytime as he currently hosts FOX’s uber successful singing competition series, “The Masked Singer.” The series was reportedly the No. 1 of last season with more than 17 million multi-platform viewers during its 2018 debut. Sheesh! He took on the hosting gig after leaving NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” where he was host for eight seasons.
“After leaving America’s Got Talent, I wanted to focus on developing my own talk show. I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds,” Nick shared. “When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams’ show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience.”

Nick – who’s rumored to be dating Jessica White again - has a lot on his plate. Along with his new talk show, he hosts and produces “Wild N’ Out,” which was renewed through Season 16. He also launched his own radio show on LA's Power 106 titled, “Nick Cannon Mornings.”
The season two premiere of "The Masked Singer" debuts tonight at 8/7c on FOX.
