Kerry Washington skipped out on a formal gown to show off in a pair of sequin pants and a button up at the 2019 EMMY Awards. More inside...
Oh, hey girl!
Three-time EMMY nominated actress Kerry Washington stepped out of the box with her look for the 2019 EMMY Awards, ditching the gown for something a little more comfortable.
Putting her own spin on a tuxedo look, the American Son actress (the Broadway play is headed to Netflix!) rocked black sequin trousers and a white button up shirt with a dramatic collar from Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection.
The "Scandal" star topped her look off with a long, dramatic ponytail styled with messy bangs. She was tapped to present during the ceremony and got to honor "POSE" star Billy Porter with the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award where he made history as the first openly gay black man to win (and be nominated) in the category.
