Serena Williams hit the tennis court yesterday on her quest for her 24th Grand Slam title during the US Open held at at Billie Jean National Tennis Center in New York City. It was the last game she needed to win to nab the record-tying Grand Slam singles title, but unfortunately, she came up short.

19-year-old Bianca Andreescu beat the 37-year-old tennis superstar 6-3, 7-5 to win the US Open, scooping up her first Grand Slam title in her first appearance at the event.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner has made the finals in four of the past six Grand Slam events. She has been itching to tie Margaret Court's all-time record of 24, but the card just haven't been in her favor. By the way, Serena made her 33rd appearance in a Grand Slam Final.

During her post-game interview, the tennis trailblazer revealed this was the worst match she played all tournament and she said it's hard on her because she knows she could have performed better. She was seemingly crushed knowing that she has lost four straight Grand Slam finals.

"I honestly didn't play my best today. I could have played better," she said during her post-game interview.

"I believe I could have played better and I believe I could have done more," she continued. "And I believe that I could have been more Serena today. Honestly, I don't think Serena showed up and I have to kind of show up in Grand Slam Finals."

The fact Rena is competing against someone half her age at this level is incredible in itself.

The Duchess of Sussex kept it stylish in a denim J. Crew button-down dress topped with a light gray J. Crew jacket. Oh, and the dress is already sold out. No surprise there. She accessorized her look with gold Victoria Beckham navigator sunglasses, turquoise Jennifer Meyer bar earrings and a gold necklace that appeared to have her and Prince Harry's first initials on it. Adobs.
