There were nostalgic feels all over the place at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta for the taping of the 2019 Black Music Honors. Classic acts that gave his hits that are still bops to this day were honored for their contributions to the music game.
During this star-studded special, some musical icons were honored and recognized for their talents, including girl singing group Xscape - Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott.The powerhouse group received the Urban Music Icon Award for the platinum selling quartet group's 25 years in the industry.
Tiny Harris' husband/rapper T.I. was all smiles while sitting in the audience with his wife, being the supportive husband.
Gospel singer Le'Andria Johnson came out to attend the ceremony as she was tapped to perform. Glad to see she's doing well.
Black don't crack! Gospel singer Yolanda Adams celebrated her 58th birthday last month and sis looks GOODT. The dress, the hair, that GLOW!
Yolanda is a vet in the gospel game, so its no surpise she copped the Gospel Music Icon Award.
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star/new mom Porsha Williams, who recently reunited with her fiance Dennis McKinley, came out to show Kandi some love.
#BlackLove was all over the blue carpet when Grant Hill and Tamia rolled up on the scene. They have been #CoupleGoals for decades.
The soulful singer was honored for her musical talents during the ceremony.

TV/radio personality Rickey Smiley and GRAMMY Award-Winner/actress LeToya Luckett returned as the show’s co-hosts.
And these two were cutting up on stage. Ha!
LeToya's fine husband Tommicus Walker was also in the mix.
Culturally-conscience eclectic group, Arrested Development and chart-topping crooner, Freddie Jackson, whose career has spanned over 33 years, also received awards during the show.
Mr. Jackson was spotted in the audience alongside singer/"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star Ray J.
Taking it back to the boy band days! Jagged Edge was tapped to perform a special tribute.
A pregnant KeKe Wyatt hit the blue carpet to show off her baby bump before hitting the stage to perform. She's expecting her 10th baby.
Jade Novah and Melanie Fiona snapped it up with Tamia and KeKe before hitting the stage to perform.
