Zendaya is an incredible actress and activist. But, she’s also a fashion force to be reckoned with. Chick slays just about every red carpet she hits, constantly transforming her look. You never know what vibe 'Daya will give you at a red carpet event, but you can bet your last dollar she’s going to look FIRE in whatever she decides to wear.
Outside of just her outfits, her makeup and hair is always on point as well. And she can thank two black women for the constant slayage.
The Hollywood Reporter tapped Zendaya and her glam squad - Ursula Stephen (hairstylist) & Sheika Daley (makeup artist) to cover their new Beauty Issue. In the issue, the magazine shines a light on the 15 beauty teams who have become showbiz’s most influential hairstylists and makeup artists.
The 23-year-old’s empire continues to expand with the announcement of a Lancôme contract in February, a second fashion collection with Tommy Hilfiger and well-reviewed turns in Spider Man: Far From Home and HBO's "Euphoria."
When preparing for a red carpet, Daya offers up some good advice on how to be the most efficient:
"Give yourself extra time. However much time you think you need, add an hour," she says. "I’d much rather be relaxed and chill."
Adds Stephen: "It’s like getting a bride ready for her wedding. It’s an opportunity for everyone — hairstylist, makeup artist, stylist, client — to share their best."
