It’s no surprise to see Straight Outta Compton actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. show up for the Los Angeles Lakers' regular season opener game last night. He’s a HUGE Lakers fan (peep his jersey) and can’t stand the Clippers, so he was front-and-center for all of the basketball action to cheer on his favorite team. And he wasn’t alone.
The Godzilla: King of Monsters actor – who is the eldest son of the multi-hyphenated Ice Cube – pulled up to the Staples Center holding hands with a woman, who the photogs labeled as his girlfriend. As of now, there aren’t any details about who she may be, but it’s clear she’s quite close to the actor. It's not his ex-girlfriend, Jackie Garcia, who gave birth to his daughter, Jordan Reign Jackson, two years ago.
In just a few months, O’Shea will be making his return to the big screen. He’ll star in the biographical drama Just Mercy, alongside Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx. The film - based on the New York Times best-selling memoir by Bryan Stevenson – follows attorney Stevenson (MBJ) as he takes on the case of Walter McMillian (Jamie Foxx), a death row inmate accused of murder despite having evidence that proves his innocence. Just Mercy is set to hit theaters January 10, 2020.
