Boosie Bad Azz hopped on social media to react to the death of a former friend who betrayed him and then gives thanks for his passing. Yes, he really did this.
The Baton Rouge rapper went on Instagram Live after he got news of his former friend’s death.
“That boy died in his sleep the other day, man," he said. "That boy outta here man, that boy outta here, man. That boy died in his sleep. God [is] good.”
Yikes.
“Fresh out 10 years and you die in your sleep. Lord Jesus, you are a good man,” he continued.
The “Wipe Me Down” rapper said he and the unidentified man stopped being friends after the man allegedly tried to rob him. He even talked about the betrayal on his 2010 track, “Betrayed.”
“God ain’t let you slide...and this nigga was my homie,” he said in the IG Live. “God ain’t let you slide. The boy done fucking died in his sleep. God is good.”
In the song “Betrayed,” he raps:
“First time you fuck with me dog I let them killas go/I'm down and dirty cause a nigga heard me/Geefus supposed to be dead but I let him slide cause he ain't worth it.”
