Former NBA baller Lamar popped the question to his fitness trainer girlfriend of a little over 3 months, Sabrina Parr, at Prime 112 tonight while they were on a double date with NeNe & Gregg Leakes. And he's calling her "the one." We hope he qualifies as "the one" for her too.

While this all does seem quite sudden, it's actually a record for Lamar.  He met and married ex-wife Khloe Kardashian all within 30 days.  So, this is taking it slow for him.

Sabrina's been training him and helping him keep up his sobriety, and the love seems to be keeping Lamar on the straight and narrow. 

The twosome spent the weekend in Miami together. Sabrina did an event during NeNe Leakes' Ladies Success weekend, but before they went she threw Lamar a huge 40th birthday surprise party in Atlanta.

Yesterday was an incredible experience especially because I really hate being surprised. I got to bring in my 40th birthday with new found family/friends in Atlanta. I gotta give a special thanks to Baby Doll @getuptoparr who was full of surprises the whole day. From catered breakfast in the morning, to getting this custom suit designed for me from @miguelwilsoncollection, and a beautiful dinner that I know took a lot of time and effort to put together. She’s amazing and has shown me so much about love and life! nothing but love to her and everyone that came through.

Sweet. While most people have been applauding these two for finding their way to each other, not everybody is here for it. The timing is...quick...and their relationship seemingly came out of nowhere. But, if Lamar's remaining healthy, maybe it's all for the best.

The look on @getuptoparr face is how she makes me feel everyday. Outside of my daughter, this is the most serious and committed relationship I’ve ever been in with a woman. I’m tired of people asking me questions about my ex’s based on old interviews and old comments! I said what I said then based on where I was in life at that time. I was young, wasn’t sober and going through a lot. All of that is different now. I’m at where I want to be at!
