John Legend made this history this year when he became an EGOT – one of only 15 people have achieved that status. Now, he’s scooping up more accolades.
The R&B crooner has been crowned as PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive! And he has mixed feelings about it.
“I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it’s a lot of pressure,” John – who just released his A Legendary Christmas album– told the publication. “Everyone’s going to be picking me apart to see if I’m sexy enough to hold this title. I’m [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!”
Ha! Well, a lot of poeple do. He's cute, he WITH his wife Chrissy are a sexy couple, but does John give us "sexy man" vibes solo? I mean....not exactly. Social media doesn't think so, but we're here for John's accomplishments and wokeness so we can't be too mad.
He even mentioned Idris landing the title last year on his social media:
"1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 @IdrisElba as #SexiestManAlive," the Grammy Award winner wrote on IG. "Hell, 2019 John is about as equally perplexed but thank you @People for finding me sexy. I'll take it"
