Fresh from her inaugural trip to Africa, Cardi B made her way back to Queens for a court hearing involving her felony assault case. And she made a dramatic entrance.  Like, super dramatic.

The Grammy Award winner pulled up for her court date in Queens, rocking a black feathered ADRIENNE LANDAU coat with a train and black wide brimmed black hat to top her look off, styled by Kollin Carter. She smiled at the photogs as she sashayed inside.

Watch her in action below:

The “Press” rapper - who covers VOGUE magaine's January 2020 issue with her daughter Kulture -  was in court today she faces felony charges that stem from a strip club brawl that went down in August 2018. Strip club bartenders Jade and Baddie Gi, who are also sisters, claim they came face-to-face with the "Be Careful" rapper on August 29th inside Angels Strip Club in Queens and that's when ish hit the fan.

It’s reported a group of people from Cardi's squad allegedly attacked them both, throwing bottles and chairs at them. They reportedly suffered injuries that needed medical attention. The fight allegedly started because Cardi had suspicions that her husband Offset had sex with Jade, who is now jailed rapper Tekashi 69’s girlfriend.

According to the AP, the court hearing centered on Cardi’s lawyers’ effort to get access to the alleged victims’ social media messages. You’ll recall, Jade uploaded a video (above), showing an Instgram direct message from Offset to Jade saying he misses her. The Cephuses quickly hopped on IG afterwards and said the Migos rapper’s IG account had been hacked.

“We believe she’s innocent, and so we’re investigating all aspects,” lawyer Drew Findling said after the court appearance.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper reportedly whispered to her attorney Jeff Kern in court, but did not speak. She has pleaded NOT guilty.
