Kid Rock’s Detroit Restaurant Closing After Drunken Expletive Laced Rant About Oprah, Blasts Rev. Al Sharpton

Kid Rock’s Detroit restaurant is closing days after a video of his drunken rant against Oprah. Oh, he’s blasting Rev. Al Sharpton and yelling out Trump 2020! More inside…

Kid Rock is shutting down his restaurant in Detroit because he’s sick of being labeled a racist, days after his drunken (and seemingly racist) rant against Oprah made its way online. Oh, and he’s popping off on Rev. Al Sharpton as well.

The country rocker announced he’s not renewing his licensing agreement for his Made In Detroit restaurant at Little Caesars Arena, which is a hot dining spot for Pistons and Red Wings fans.

News of the closing comes days after Kid Rock’s drunken rant about Oprah at his Honky Tonk bar in Nashville. He hopped on stage and unleashed a disrespectful, expletive-laced rant against Oprah. "F*** Oprah!," he yelled on the mic. He also said Lady O could "suck d*** sideways," while also blasting daytime talk shot hosts Joy Behar and Kathy Lee Gifford, although he meant Kathy Griffin. After popping off on everyone, he was adamant that he’s NOT racist.

”I will not be renewing my licensing agreement for my Made In Detroit Restaurant this April,” he wrote on his Facebook account. “I appreciate all who have patronized our place and still have much love for the City of Detroit and the people / organizations that I have helped there for years, black, white, whatever, but learned long ago, go where you're celebrated, not tolerated.”

There were reports that protestors with the National Action Network (NAN) are planning a press conference outside of the venue. In his FB statement, Rock mentioned how he helped bring millions of dollars in the city. Since he’s breaking up with Detroit, he said NAN can do it now.

"I guess the millions of dollars I pumped into that town was not enough," he wrote. "I will let the NAN network and others go ahead and take the wheel now. Good luck."

Rev. Al Sharpton founded NAN in 1991 and Rock had a message for the network’s founder.

"Hey Al Sharpton, you or your cronies will never beat me you tax evading, race baiting clown!" he wrote.

So if Al's a race baiter what does that make you, Kid Rock?

NAN has called Rock out previously for his use of the Confederate flag and other controversial (and possibly racist) behavior.

"I may be guilty of being a loud mouth jerk at times, but trying to label me racist is a joke, and actually only does a disservice to the black community, which I have supported my entire life, by trying to alienate myself and many others."

Oh, he also gave Trump a shoutout for the 2020 presidential election.

There's more:

"All this BS going on has just go my blood pumpin’ and is only more songwriting fuel for a new record and tour in 2021. I am beholden to no one, no corporate sponsors, no label and I am gonna go the fuck off!," he tweeted.

"You haters better be shaking in your boots. To my supporters and fans, I will not let you down. I guarantee it will be my best record and tour ever. Devil Without a Cause…Kid Rock," he tweeted.

He sure is doing the most for someone who claims they aren't racist.
