Well well m'fin well. What do we have here? A very married NBA baller who apparently was in the mood to no longer hide his - situationship - with a Hollywood actress? Yup. We've got the receipts on J.R. Smith and Candice Patton inside.
It seems that when professional athletes have too much time on their hands, they get into trouble. Former Cavaliers baller J.R. Smith (34) - who has yet to be signed to a team this season - seems to be keeping busy these days not with his wife and their kids, but with a certain comic series star.
The rumor mill went into overdrive late Thursday night when J.R. posted up a now deleted IG Live video with 31-yeae-old "The Flash" star Candice Patton's dog - who she posts often. He was seen walking her dog and playing with her dog inside of a home, and you can hear her voice in the background. Innocent "visit"? Maybe.

We're not sure what a married man with kids is doing chillin' at a Hollywood starlet's house with his wife nowhere around. This when isn't the first time the baller and the actress have hung out, either.

Back in October, J.R. and Candice both attended a Halloween party at the Cosmopolitan. Candice's good friend and fellow CW actress Vanessa Morgan ("Riverdale") committed the ultimate social media sin and posted a pic of J.R. & Candice together - with the caption "Hottest Couple".
When tongues started wagging, the post was deleted. But check it out above.
Soon after that post, a blind item surfaced about a married first round draft pick turned on-their-way-out-the-league NBA baller and a rising Hollywood actress dating and being all over each other at a Halloween party. Thanks to the words Cavalier, mask and flash being used as clues, folks guessed it was Candice, but most thought LeBron James was the other person. Now, we know it was VERY likely J.R.
There's one other thing - J.R. showed off his jacket on Thursday's IG live. On his jacket were pics of dice (Candice's nickname) and a lightening bolt (could be a reference to her "The Flash" show on CW network).
J.R. and Jewey Smith got married in August 2016, just before they went through the tough birth of their baby girl. The two had been dating for years, and even had a child together 6 years prior, but J.R. had another baby with someone else years later. He was even dating another woman, Ashley Weatherspoon, and was on vacation with Ashley just days before randomly popping the question to Jewey.
Now, he seems to be back on his bullsh-t and dating someone else before splitting from his wife. Jewey was just posting about them and their love this past October:
Recently, though, she's been posting "inspo memes" about happiness and self worth, the same thing wives and girlfriends usually do when their man is acting up. J.R. has oddly removed everything from his IG after 2017.
We would hope J.R. isn't openly cheating on his wife. Either way, this is a whole mess.
