Zoe Kravitz - the daughter of Lisa Bonet & Lenny Kravitz - is sitting on top of the world. Her career is flourishing, she happily married, and she has new projects coming down the pipeline.
After celebrating her 31st birthday last month, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress lands the cover of https://www.elle.com/culture/movies-tv/a30419740/zoe-kravitz-interview-h... ">ELLE magazine’s February 2020 issue. She also flexes her model skills in a hot spread, including posing in the nude. And we know she's not afraid to bare it all as she has gone nude in magazine shoots in the past.
Inside, the “Big Little Lies” star opens up about her battle with bulimia after moving with her father in Miami – where she was surrounded by celebrities - when she was 11-years-old.
“I didn’t like my new school,” she shares with the publication. “I didn’t feel like I fit in anywhere, and I was surrounded by an enormous amount of beauty and posturing. I was a chunky, perfectly normal-looking 15-year-old, but I had this remarkably beautiful skinny mother and a father who was dating a supermodel, and I felt short and ungainly.”
Zoe shared her new environment was a factor with her becoming bulimic and she suffered from the illness for nearly a decade. She ended up moving to New York and was able to hide the disease. Once her parents found out, she began therapy.
“I’m okay now,” she assures ELLE. “But I am very vigilant. It’s a disease, and I never let myself forget that.”
During her transition to Miami, her father got secretly engaged to actress Nicole Kidman. And Zoe admitted she sort of gave Nicole a hard time.
“I was a grumpy teenager with her,” Zoe remembers.
Now, Nicole Kidman is her “Big Little Lies” co-star and she couldn’t be happier to have her almost step-mother in her life.
“I learned so much from my Big Little Lies family,” she gushes. “Much as everyone would like us to have been b*tchy and competitive, we all got along so well.”
Nicole’s feelings towards the once “grumpy teenager” are mutual.
“I feel protective, like a big sister, toward her. She is carving her own path with confidence and grace,” Nicole tells ELLE.

Speaking of secret engagements...
Zoe def took a page from her father’s blueprint about keeping her love life on the low. Just like Lenny got secretly engaged to Nicole Kidman, Zoe got secretly engaged to her now-husband/Love actor Karl Glusman. We didn’t find out until eight months after the engagement, which went down in February 2018. After he popped the question, Zoe was seen rocking her engagement ring at several red carpet events.
Fast forward to May ’19, we learned the couple had already gotten “legally married.” Then, photos of the couple attending their wedding rehearsal dinner popped up online in June 2019. The couple's rehearsal dinner was held at Restaurant Lapérouse on June 28, 2019 - the day before their wedding.

Zoe and Karl's nupitals took place on June 29, 2019 inside her father Lenny Kravitz's extravagent three-story, eight-bedroom, 18th century home in Paris, France. Of course, her mother Lisa Bonet was in attendance, alongside her husband Jason Momoa, and their two children (and Zoe's young siblings), Lola Iolani and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha.
The bride wore a custom Alexander Wang midi ballgown that featured an embellished portrait neckline and a drop waist. She finished her look with white kitten heels and a matching petite bow headband, with her braids twisted into a low, tight chignon.
Several of Zoe and Karl's celeb friends were in atteandance as well, including Alicia Keys & Cree Summer, as well as her "Big Little Lies" co stars, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Nicole Kidman, and Shailene Woodley, who all gathered around the bride for a photo during the reception.
