MEGXIT STRATEGY: Several Statements Issued About Meghan & Harry’s Independent Life After All Those Meetings + Meg's Already Back in Canada With Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent shock waves through the royal family and the world when they announced they were stepping down as Senior Royals. Now, Queen Elizabeth II is responding with her hesitant blessing. More inside…

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had the Royal Family scrambling after they announced they're leaving their "Senior" Royal Duties and moving to North America! Canada to be exact. And the Duke & Duchess of Sussex made the announcement without Queen Elizabeth’s approval, blindsiding her to some extent.  We highly doubt she just didn't see this coming though or their unhappiness with their ongoing mistreatment.

The Queen knew how they felt about wanting to embark on a more independent life, however, she reportedly asked Prince Harry NOT to issue the public statement, but he did it anyway. Yep, he’s serious about protecting his woman and we’re totally not mad at it.

There were reports that the royal family was “hurt” and “devastated” by the news, but that’s not stopping Meg & Harry from creating the life they both want. If only they were just as "hurt and devastated" about the mistreatment of the Sussexes by the British press....

Soon after, the Queen held several conference calls and face-to-face meetings with her son, Prince Charles, and grandson, Prince William, to sort out everything. After a few meetings with them, Prince Harry was added in the mix of conference calls and meetings.

Now that they’ve laid it all out on the table, the Queen is giving her blessing. The Duke & Duchess of Sussex will split their time between Britain and Canada, and they have the support of the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II issued a rare statement about her grandson and his wife’s new independent life via the Royal Family’s official website:

“Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family,” the queen said in a statement after a family meeting at her home in Sandringham.

Of course, they’d rather Meg & Harry remain full-time members of the family, but she respects their wishes.

“Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.

When Meg & Harry first announced their independence, they made it known they also wanted to be "financially independent" as well. So now, they’re in a “period of transition.”

“Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.

Everything still isn’t sorted out just yet though.

”These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

Will Meghan and Harry be stripped of their titles? It’s not totally clear. The sense is they haven’t been “kicked out” so those titles will continue as far as we know. If they were going to be stripped of their titles, we that news likely would have been shared. So, it's still a toss up right now.

There have been rumors circulating that Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William have been feuding, so they released a rare joint statement to put the rumors to rest. The reports about William's "bullying attitude" being the cause of Meghan & Harry's departure are false, according to the brothers.

“Despite clear denials, a false story ran in a U.K. newspaper today speculating about the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge,” read the statement. “For brothers who care so deeply about the issues surrounding mental health, the use of inflammatory language in this way is offensive and potentially harmful.”

There's that.

After the Sussexes made their announcement on January 8th, Meghan jetted back to Canada to be with their eight-month-old son, Archie. The couple left Archie in Canada as they dropped their bombshell news. Prince Harry hasn’t flown back to Canada just yet since he has an engagement to attend on Thursday, January 16th.

While in North America, they need security. Canada will reportedly pick up the tab, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Trudeau pledged to Queen Elizabeth II that Canada would pay the $1.3 million annual bill to ensure the safety of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their son, Archie, the U.K.’s Evening Standard reported.

Meghan reportedly headed back to Canada days ago where they left Archie with his nanny.  Chick was OUT, and let Harry sort that family ish out.

So, for now, they’ll split their time in Canada and Britain. New reports suggest Meghan and Harry want to make Los Angeles their home, but only after Donald Trump’s presidency ends. Can’t blame them there!

Meghan Markle has her next gig lined up and she can thank her hubby for it. The former "Suits" star recently signed a deal with Disney to do voiceover work for an unnamed future project. It's reported she will not be paid for the project. She apparently agreed to do the voiceover in exchange for a donation to the charity organization Elephants Without Borders. Nice!

A video or Prince Harry chatting it up with Disney's CEO Bob Iger during The Lion King's Lond premiere has surfaced where he mentioned Meghan does voiceovers. Come through king!

“You know she does voiceovers,” Harry told Bob.

“Oh really?” Bob responded.

“She’s really interested,” Harry continued.

“Sure, we’d love to try," Bob said.

Peep the clip above.

If our man isn't out looking out for us like this, we don't want him!
