SPLIT! Lena Waithe & Wife Alana Separate After Less Than A Year Of Marriage, Constant Cheating Rumored To Be The Cause

Grand opening, grand closing.  Just two months after Lena Waithe revealed she and Alana Mayo have been married for almost a year, they couple says they've split.  And the cheating rumors are wild.  Deets inside.

Back in November, Queen & Slim creator Lena Waithe told "Ellen" guest co-host John Legend she had recently become a wife.  She and longtime girlfriend Alana Mayo had secretly and impulsively tied the knot months prior at the San Francisco courthouse, and chick seemed to be head over heels about it all.  Lena revealed then that it was Alana's idea to get married.

But y'all know ish isn't always what it seems.  After hitting tons of red carpets together and Lena gushing about her wifey, it's over!  Both Lena and Alana just put out a joint statement revealing they have decided to split ways.

"After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways," a joint statement from their reps read. "We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time."

 

As for why - apparently, somebody's been acting like a straight up f--k girl in these streets.  Love B. Scott, alleges Lena was cheating - throughout the relationship and prior to marriage - and buying other people Chanel & Gucci.

Well, according to our sources — the quickie wedding came after multiple instances of Lena’s infidelity. Lena went along with it as a way to placate Alana and salvage their relationship.

Despite their official union, Lena’s alleged cheating continued.

“Even after they married, Lena was still buying designer gifts — Chanel, Gucci — for other women.”

Chile...

We gotta say, as soon as we saw the news of the split, which came just two months after they revealed they were married, we figured SOMEBODY had to be cheating.
