Former NFL star Victor Cruz says he "loves his girlfriend Karrueche Tran enough" to marry her. He also addresses those pregnancy rumors.
Former NY Giants player Victor Cruz and “Claws” actress Karrueche Tran have been dating for a few years now and everything they’re spotted together they seem to be madly in love. So, it comes to no surprise that the Super Bowl winning wide receiver is talking marriage.
The Patterson, NJ native stopped by the “Wendy Williams Show” for the first time to promote his new gig on E!’s weekday morning news show, “Pop of the Morning.”
The 33-year-old opened up about the moment he knew his NFL career was going to change after injuring his right knee on the gridiron and what life would be like after the league. Then, he was questioned about his love life.
After Wendy confused Karrueche with Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie (bloop!), Victor shared how they met, their first date (yep- it was that movie date folks spotted them at in 2017), and the possible next step in their relationship.
He’d def trek it to the alter to live happily ever after with Kae - who became famous after dating Chris Brown but has certainly made her own name as an actress and face of companies like Colourpop.
”I do,” Victor replied when Wendy asked if he loved her enough to marry her. Then he added, “Absolutely, absolutely.”
Aww. We could see this happening.
The former NFL star is already a father to his adorable 8-year-old daughter Kennedy Cruz, whom he shares with his ex-fiancée Elaina Watley. Does he want more?
“I do, he said. “I want my little boy, I need my football player.”
Even if he doesn’t get a boy and gets a girl, he’d love his baby girl just the same.By the way, he said he and Elaina are straight and are co-parenting just fine - even after that alleged mass text she sent to his mistresses.
Wendy tried to pull a fast one on him and congratulated him on the “upcoming baby.” That took him by surprise, and he responded, “I have one child.”
Pregnancy rumors started circulating when Kae posted a meme of a woman with a big belly. The meme read:
“Congratulations, what is it? Me: food.”
“She is not pregnant,” he said to dispel the rumors. “Obviously, she posted something [on social media],” and turned to look at the post that was put up on the screen behind him. “Just to make it clear, we’re not pregnant.”
So there you have it.
Kae's birthday is coming up this May, so we'll be keeping an eye on these two for an engagement announcement.
