It was raining in L.A. last night, but that didn't stop celebs from attending the 51 Annual NAACP Image Awards which were held inside the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. For the first time, the awards ceremony aired live on BET and on several other Viacom stations simultaneously, so everyone got a glimpse inside the biggest black family reunion of the year.

Soulful songstress/'First Wives Club" actress Jill Scott - who was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series - graced us with her presence when she popped up on the red carpet looking fabulous as ever in a printed jumpsuit.

Not only did she bless us with her beauty, she serenaded our souls with a rousing performance of "Do You Remember" and "Is It The Way." Everyone was on their feet rocking out to Ms. Jilly From Philly. Check it below:

If the word "stunning" was a person, it would be the legendary Angela Bassett!

The Hollywood vet served up style and grace in a structured green Azzi & Osta couture gown.

The 61-year-old won the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series Award for her powerful performance in the hit “9-1-1" series. And rightfully so. Peep her acceptance speech below:

Comedian/actor/singer Jamie Foxx was amongst the winner's circle last night. He won the Outstanding Supporting Actor In Motion Picture Award for his role in Just Mercy. He showed mad love to Michael B. Jordan, who starred and produced the film. Just Mercy is the first of many projects through MBJ's Outlier Society Productions, which adopted inclusion riders.
