We're not sure who thought we needed this, but here we are. OneUnited Bank released their new Visa Debit card in honor of Harriet Tubman and this just ain't it. More inside...
In honor of Black History Month, OneUnited Bank – the nation’s largest Black-owned and FDIC insured bank - decided to release a new Visa Debit card to celebrate. The chose a painting of famed abolitionist Harriet Tubman to go on the new limited-edition Visa Debit cards, but it’s not an image of how we’ve seen her over the years. They had someone paint an image of our fearless leader throwing up the “Wakanda Forever” sign. Y’all!

We’re ALL for representation, but this just isn’t…right. Twitter agrees:

Let me guess. A white marketing executive from Beverly Hills came up with the idea of a Harriet Tubman Visa Debit Card doing the Wakanda Forever salute.

This Twitter user offered up a better option:
Instead of Harriet Tubman doing the Wakanda Salute how about an image of reaching out to give a helping hand?
Any thoughts? pic.twitter.com/9m0yZFLUMy
