There’s seemingly more to the story! Yung Berg/Hitmaka claims he was set up by the woman who accused him of pistol whipping her. And he has receipts. More inside…
Yesterday, disturbing photos of a woman who accused rapper-turned-producer Yung Berg (AKA Hitmaka) of pistol whipping her surfaced online. (You can see them HERE). It was reported Hitmaka and the woman got into a verbal dispute that allegedly resulted in him pistol whipping her and breaking her nose. She reportedly had to be hospitalized for her injuries.
Now, the former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star is sharing HIS side of what went down.
According to Hitmaka (real name Christian Ward) he was SET UP by the woman to be robbed and he was simply acting in self-defense. In a statement sent via his lawyer, he made it clear the woman – allegedly named Talia Tilley – is NOT his girlfriend and never was. We get the vibe that they were just "dating".
He then shared specific details about how the woman - whom he invited over but not for the first time - out of the blue started to beat him up inside his home right before he noticed men trying to break into his home. He claims she was allegedly sending someone her location while she was in his home - before, during and after the attempted home invasion.
Here's what he says happened over the weekend via his attorney:
In another post, the "Sexy Can I" rapper shared surveillance video of two men (who he said were armed) trying to break into his home. He said he could have been murdered and warned his fellow LA homies to be careful who they let inside their homes.
“I could’ve been murdered inside my home on Saturday & I would like to take this time & thank all of my family, friends, & colleagues who have reached out regarding the matter sending love and positive energy,” he wrote in the caption of the video. “This footage is very alarming to all my fellow people in music & living in los angles area pls be safe and monitor who you allow in your home.”
He said he’s sharing his receipts in an attempt to clear his name following the drama.
”I have all the surveillance footage which some I’m posting & also other evidence needed. I retained legal council & decided that with this matter which I’m totally traumatized about that I must let the truth out as media outlets without having proper info are attempting to stain my character and reputation that I have spent my entire life building."

Hitmaka also hopped on IG Stories and shared clips that show the men seemingly passing an object to each other. Hitmaka claims it was a gun. Check it below:
The woman has hired famed attorney Lisa Bloom to represent her:
