Exotic dancers in Oregon aren’t letting the Coronvirus virus pandemic stop their coin.
Governor Kate Brown shut down all non-essential businesses, so the ladies who work at the Lukcy Devil Lounge in Portland had to get creative. Since the bar serves food, everyone decided they’d work as delivery personnel so the bar could offer take-out services to their customers. And it worked.
Some of the dancers’ regular customers like to call in and order food along with requesting which dancer they’d like to hand deliver it. Their new food delivery service’s name? A play on Uber, “Boober Eats.” How fitting.
Not only do the ladies deliver the food, they do it topless as an added bonus.
Owner Shon Boulden told The Oregonian it all started off as a joke that he posted to social media. Next thing he knows, he’s receiving orders. Now, the bar opens from 7pm to 1am as Boulden’s Boober Eats delivering food from their menu to their loyal customers. The ladies deliver the food, security drives the ladies around, the cooks still keep their job and bartenders are busy taking orders and posting on social media. Oh, and he’s making sure to keep his girls safe by supplying them with Boulden is also giving the dancers masks, disposable gloves and wipes.
Boulden said he’s happy he’s able to keep his staff employed during a time where a lot of restaurants/entertainment businesses are struggling.
