With all of us stuck in the house amid the Coronavirus crisis, media queen Oprah decided to launch a new series on Apple TV+ to discuss the pandemic titled, “Oprah Talks COVID-19.”

For her first episode the media mogul hopped on a video call to check in on British actor Idris Elba to see how he’s doing after he revealed he tested positive for the virus. Idris and his wife Sabrina are being quarantined in New Mexico, where Idris' latest film was in production.

”Like millions of people all over the world, I've been staying safer at home for over a week now. I know a lot of people are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, & uncertain. Bc of that, I want to offer some hope & gather thought leaders & people going through it to add some perspective,” Lady O tweeted.

Which is why I FaceTimed @idriselba & his wife Sabrina who are safely quarantined together after he tested positive for COVID-19. Idris fills me in on his journey and Sabrina reveals the result of her test after they decided to quarantine together.”

The Golden Globe winner shared:

“It’s one of the upsides of this whole drama is that we are forced to think together as a race, we really are, as a human race.”

The British hottie said we’ve damaged our world so bad, it’s no surprise our world is reacting to the human race. He said it’s no surprise a “virus has been created to slow us down” that’ll make us start thinking differently about our world and ourselves.

“What you’re doing is not good, so I’ll get rid of you. So, like any organism would do, is try to get rid of an infection and maybe this is it for the world,” he continued.

Last week, the “Luther” actor announced he had tested positive for the deadly virus in a video posted to his social media. He assured his fans he was feeling fine and hadn't experienced the extreme symptoms from the virus like others.

Fans began to sound off on the fact that Idris’ wife, Sabrina Dhowre, was right beside him in the announcement video since the virus is so easily shared. As you know, doctors and government officials have asked people who have been diagnosed with the virus to self-quarantine and to stay away from others, so everyone had their opinion about Sabrina being so close to him.

”We calculated the risk and decided to be together,” he said in a live stream posted to his Twitter account.

”Sabrina’s good too. Sabrina today finally managed to get a test, and we're thankful for that. Generally, Sabrina's fine. Nervous of course. Worried. Just for clarification, Sabrina wanted to be by my side,” he said during the Live. “As much as we talked about her not coming to where I am, she did and wanted to and I love her even more for it and I would do the same for her. As much as I wanted her to keep safe, we presumed if I had it, the likelihood she would have it too, we calculated that risk. When something like this is going on in the world, love is all you can get, who am I to turn down my wife's support?,” he asked.

In their interview with Oprah, Sabrina revealed she just got her test results back on Saturday and she has tested postive for the virus as well.

"Actually, I found out this morning, Oprah, that I tested positive," Sabrina said during her Facetime interview with Lady O. "I wanted to be with him," she explained and said she felt "the instinct of a wife" to take care of him.

Like her husband, Sabrina said she feels fine and isn't experiencing Coronavirus symptoms:

"I don't feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange. It might change in the coming weeks, and we'll keep everyone updated."

The couple said they have been focused on spending quality time together, playing video games, chess and "staying creative."

We pray they both stay healthy. The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary next month.

So, if you found out your partner tested positive for Coronavirus, would you make them isolate themselves or would you stay by their side?
