Shots were fired during Lil Baby’s concert in Birmingham, AL last night, resulting in one person reportedly being hospitalized.
The “Woah” rapper hit the stage at Birmingham’s Bill Harris Arena when a fight broke out. In the clips posted to social media, you see the My Turn rapper performing and then he runs backstage. Shortly after, you hear one shot fired inside the venue and people start screaming and running.

According to AL.com, the victim was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not known.
The police cleared the arena and shut down the concert. As of the time of this post, no arrests have been made.
Shortly after the incident, Lil Baby hopped on Instagram, posting a picture of himself inside a store with the caption, “Blogs Post Anything For A Click Shit Lame Get Off A Young Nigga DIcc #myturn”
Scary stuff, but he doesn't seem too bothered by it. This is the second time this week Lil Baby's name has been in some crazy drama.
There are unconfirmed rumors that people in Lil Baby's 4PF crew jumped, robbed and stripped Migos rapper Offset outside of an Atlanta nightclub last weekend. Nothing has been confirmed, but that's what the streets are saying. You can get those deets HERE.
Before all the concert drama, Lil Baby paid it forward for kids from his old hood.
Lil Baby (real name Dominique Armani Jones) dropped out of high school in the 10th grade and never imagined he would return to his former high school, Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. However, he recently paid a visit to the school and for a good a cause.
On the heels of potentially his first No. 1 album, the My Turn rapper delivered a $150,000 check to help students at his old high school attend college. Woot!
“From the time I left here to now, I’ve had a crazy journey,” the rapper told Billboard. “Just to be able to come back on a positive note and actually touch this ground again and see some of these faces again... I can’t even explain it. I was once in a state where I knew for sure I wasn’t ever coming back here."
“To be able to come, give back and be something, and perform for children, that means everything to me,” he added.
With help from Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation, Quality Control Music, Wolfpack Global and Motown Records, the "Drip Too Hard" rapper launched the "My Turn" Scholarship fun. My Turn is also the name of his newly released album.
"A majority of the students in these neighborhoods, when they have good grades most of them don’t have support. They don’t have a family who can afford to [send them] to a good college or the college they want to go to,” he explained. He told the publication he hopes to donate to the fund annually.
During his visit at his former high school, he hit the stage to perform his hit single "Woah" and he also performed snippets of “Close Friends” and “Freestyle” to a gym of screaming students.
For the latter song, senior Vachon Raye served as his hype man. Prior to the performance, the rapper congratulated Raye — the first student to be accepted into an Ivy League in the school’s history — on his admission to Dartmouth College and invited him to attend one of his concerts. (Lil Baby isn’t the first celebrity to attend Booker T. Washington High School, the first public school for African Americans in Georgia; other famous attendees include Martin Luther King, Jr., Lena Horne and Young Thug).
Lil Baby's album My Turn is expected to hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
“Numbers ain’t really that important," he said. "They are when you go No. 1... but, for the most part, don’t try to think about the numbers. Just try to go as hard as you can go."

The Grammy nominated rapper made a special appearance on MTV’s “Fresh Out Live” to chop it up with host Sway Calloway about his new album My Turn and working with Lil Wayne on “Forever.” The chart-topper also discussed returning to high school after dropping out to get his GED and starting his "My Turn" scholarship.
On the importance of obtaining his GED:
“[It was] definitely important to get my GED. I needed that to open certain doors for me. If I had never got that, certain doors wouldn’t be open for me. I don’t really like to speak on it like this, but with my sentence in prison, because I had a GED it was like a lesser sentence.”
On donating $150K to jumpstart the “My Turn” scholarship fund:
"I could’ve donated to anything.. But [donating] to the school, to me, that’s the best way. I got a better chance of knowing it's going to the right place versus a charity. With a scholarship, I can see where my money is going.”
On being compared to Lil Wayne and nervousness to meet him:
“I’m definitely honored! That’s the perfect word for it. Even if it's far-fetched to somebody, but just for more than one person to compare me to somebody like him I'm definitely honored and it makes me want to go harder.”
“See I’ve [gotten] over the nervous thing, but he’s the only rapper when I did meet him, I was kinda nervous. Everybody else I meet, I don't really be too fazed, but with Wayne I definitely was kind of nervous.”
