Trump is now criticizing Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp for reopening literally days after he incited his supporters to protest states that refuse to reopen. More inside…
Trump is SO wishy washy - whether it's intentional or due to a possible mental disorder - and it’s down right deadly during this Coronavirus pandemic.
Yesterday, Trump said he “strongly disagrees” with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s decision to reopen businesses – such as nail salons and barbershops – LITERALLY a day after he praised Gov. Kemp during a White House press briefing.
"I told the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, that I disagree strongly with his decision to open certain facilities," Trump said during a Coronavirus briefing. "But at the same time, he must do what he thinks is right. I want him to do what he thinks is right. But I disagree with him on what he's doing."
As you know, Trump said the governors would hold the power on when they’ll reopen their states – a day after he said he has all the power to tell the governors what to do. Kemp decided he would open nail salons, barbershops, movie theaters and more today. However, he claims the reopening is driven by the data – which we know not to be true since Georgia hasn’t even reached its peak yet.
Earlier today, I discussed Georgia's plan to reopen shuttered businesses for limited operations with @POTUS. I appreciate his bold leadership and insight during these difficult times and the framework provided by the White House to safely move states forward. (1/3) #gapol

Kemp tweeted he appreciated Trump’s bold leadership, but he’s still going to reopen Georgia due to “favorable data & more testing.”

Our next measured step is driven by data and guided by state public health officials. We will continue with this approach to protect the lives - and livelihoods - of all Georgians. (2/3) #gapol

Just like the thousands of businesses currently operating throughout Georgia, I am confident that business owners who decide to reopen will adhere to Minimum Basic Operations, which prioritize the health and well-being of employees and customers. (3/3) #gapol

Surprisingly speaking with reason and common sense, Trump said he thought opening spas, beauty salons, tattoo parlors and barbershops “is just too soon."
"I love those people who use all those things," Trump said, "but they can wait a little bit longer."
That's odd, seeing that just a few days ago he tweeted for citizens in the states of Virginia, Michigan and Minnesote to protest the "stay-at-home" orders put in place for their states. He incited protests by telling them to "Liberate" their state.
By the way, who knew the Mayor of Las Vegas - who said she's willing to "sacrifice a few lives in her city" to determine if reopening is a good idea - is a piece of foolywang material by herself?
We're all Anderson Cooper. When will it all end?
BONUS: While ATL Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms made it known she would NOT be on board with her city reopening, despite Kemp's foolish decision, she's also facing racist attacks from folks because of it.
What a mess.
