2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for Doja Cat.
The singer/rapper celebrated a few highs, including when her Nicki Minaj “Say So” collaboration climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also endured a few lows like when she got canceled on Twitter for alleged racist comments and she also tested positive for the Coronavirus after trolling.
The Hot Pink singer kicked off her debut performance at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards with a MTV News feature. She pretended to be a anchor named “Something Quirkier.”
The 24-year-old entertainer then went on to serve up a choreographed intergalactic performance of her hits “Say So” and “Like That” in a barely there skin-tight bodysuit that lit up, delivering the best performance of the night. By the way, Doja was originally set to perform alongside J Balvin before he dropped out of the awards show, citing COVID-19 concerns.
