“HMU” was written and produced by Sevyn and Smash David and it channels the emotional transformation within an intimate situation when feeling young and free. The music video, directed by Malakai, shows Sevyn’s more seductive and playful side.

”Empire” star/singer Rotimi joined forces with Wale for his sultry track “In My Bed.” The song is originally off his 2019 EP The Beauty of Becoming.

Fans have been waiting for the official music video after the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt on production. So, he had to round up a team of tech experts to make it happen.

“Rotimi was scheduled to shoot the video for his hit single ‘In My Bed,’ but the shoot was canceled due to the pandemic and fast spread of COVID-19. Rotimi and his team in partnership with EMPIRE set out to hire animators to put together a video for the song. We found 37 of the best animators from 24 cities across 5 different continents and they collaborated to bring this animated video to life...”

Multifaceted performer Lakeith Stanfield, musically known as Htiekal, just released visuals for his new single as a solo recording artist called “Fast Life.”

Combining his talents as an actor, “Fast Life” opens up with an ode to the legendary film Casablanca before jumping into the story of events from the night before. A whirlwind fling throughout the hustle and bustle of the face paced city with his leading lady, the video captures Standfield enjoying the finer things in life in what seems to be a repetitive and sometimes overhyped experience all while well groomed from head to toe in a nice tuxedo.
