Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset, Says Their Marriage Is ‘Irretrievably Broken’ & She Wants Custody Of Kulture

After several public ups & downs – Cardi B and Offset are over.

Today, the “WAP” raptress pulled up to an Atlanta courthouse to file for divorce from Offset after almost three years of marriage. According to the paperwork, Cardi said their marriage is "irretrievably broken" and "there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”

The reason? According to PEOPLE, she found out he cheated AGAIN. Sighs…

The “Bodak Yellow” raptress is seeking primary custody as well as legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus. She also wants child support, but no amount was specified. And she wants the Migos rapper to pay her legal expenses. As for spousal support, no word on that. However, Cardi is asking for "an equitable division of all marital assets,” which means there could be a prenuptial agreement in place. Like how to divide all of those investment properties they bought and their massive dream home they copped right before Christmas last year.

The couple is due in court on November 4th.

Fans have seen the couple go through a roller coaster ride of breakups to makeups. After secretly getting married in September 2017, rumors circulated on these Internet streets that Offset was featured in a sex tape cheating scandal. The cheating drama popped off three months after the couple got hitched under the radar.

In December 2018, Bardi announced they were broken up and that they were getting a divorce.

Offset went on a whole “please take me back” tour where he apologized and begged Cardi to forgive him and take him back. We know y’all remember when he crashed her historical headlining performance during her Rolling Loud set in 2018. It worked and she took him back.

The “Bartier Cardi” rapper revealed why she took Offset back in her cover story for COSMOPOLITAN’s April 2018 issue.

“It’s like everybody is coming down my neck like, ‘Why are you not leaving him? You have low self-esteem,.’" she explained. "I don’t have low self-esteem … I know I look good. I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want—any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my shit with my man, and I don’t got to explain why. I’m not your property. This is my life ... I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision … It’s not right, what he fucking did — but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”

Then it was that drama with those strip club bar tenders Jade and Baddie Gi, who are sisters. It’s alleged Bardi got her crew to beat down one of the ladies because she thought Offset cheated on her with one of them. A whole lawsuit was hurled at Bardi that she’s still fighting.

In December 2019, Jade hopped on social media to expose Offset! She posted screenshots of the Migos rapper sliding in her Instagram DMs saying he missed her. You can catch up on that drama HERE.

They almost made it to the three-year mark, but it’s clear Cardi has had enough of his shenanigans. And we don't blame her. We're sure the dealbreaker will be revealed at some point.  We wish her the best!
