Bobby Brown sits down with the “Read Table Talk” co-hosts and opens up about the deaths of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, and his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. He also talked about the recent death of his son, Bobby Brown Jr., after he was found dead due to a drug overdose. More inside…

R&B singer Bobby Brown is opening up about the deaths of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and his son, Bobby Brown Jr., for the first time.

The former New Edition singer got candid during an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Jones on the latest episode of “Red Table Talk” about the deaths of people close to him. He told the co-hosts he believes there was “foul play” with Whitney Houston’s drowning in 2012 and Bobbi Kristina’s eerily similar death three years later.

In February 2012, Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in a bathtub in the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel. Her death was ruled an accident. In January 2015, Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to the hospital, but never regained consciousness after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub. She died in July 2015 while in hospice care. Bobby Brown Jr., 28, was found dead at his home in November 2020 after a drug overdose.

During the interview, the 52-year-old singer said he believes Bobbi Kristina’s late boyfriend, Nick Gordon, “definitely” provided the drugs that killed his ex-wife and daughter. By the way, Nick Gordon – who was found liable for Bobbi Kristina’s death - died at age 30 on New Year's Day 2020 of a heroin overdose.

”He [Nick Gordon] was the only one there for both situations with my ex-wife and my daughter and they both died the exact same way,” he said.

Jada asked if he believes Nick “killed Whitney,” and he responded, “I believe so.”

“This is my opinion of who I think this young man was,” he said. “Being around my daughter and being around my ex-wife, I think he was more so a provider of, you know, party favors.”

Bobby Brown said he planned to confront Nick about his alleged ways, but never got the chance to.

The R&B crooner said he didn’t learn about the abuse Bobbi Kristina endured until after her death.

“I didn’t see it and she didn’t tell me about it,” he said, revealing he and his daughter didn’t spend much time together following Whitney’s death although he feels he should have.

”If I could just get those two days back, she’d still be here, because I would have found out what was going on to do something about it,” he said.

So tragic.

There were several unfortunate situations surrounding this family that really didn't have to happen. We hope Bobby is taking care of himself and is keeping his mental health a priority so he can be a doting dad to the rest of his children.
