"I finally know I'm a lesbian," singer Kehlani said in a Tik Tok video.
Since Kehlani has been in the music game, it seems she has seemingly identified as queer or bisexual. We’ve seen her with both men (Kyrie Irving, YG & her daughter’s dad Javaughn Young-White) and women (Shaina Negron) in the past. Now, she has come to terms with her sexuality.
”I am gay, gay, gay!,” she said in a TikTok post yesterday.
The 25-year-old singer went on to joke about how she “came out” to her family as a lesbian.
“We know, duh,” the Oakland born singer said her family said. “I just wanted y’all to know that everyone knew but me.”

Before officially “coming out,” Kehlani hinted at being gay during an IG Live previously. Now, she’s letting the world know she’s all the way gay.
The “Can I” singer has a two year-old daughter Adeya Nomi, whom she shares with guitarist Javie Young-White (who identifies as bisexual). In the past, Kehlani was romantically linked to rapper YG in 2019, a woman named Shaina Negron in 2018, artist PartyNextDoor in 2016, and NBA star Kyrie Irving in 2015.
Recently, Kehlani enjoyed a girl’s night out at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood with fellow singers SZA and Lizzo:
